- What counts as a delivered message?
- A message is delivered when a contact form was submitted successfully (confirmed or very likely sent) or when your mail server accepted the email. A fixed or light message counts as 1, a personalized message as 2. Failed, skipped and unclear attempts cost nothing.
- What happens when I run out of messages?
- Your campaigns pause and the campaign page says why. Buy more messages for any amount from $10 (on Pay as you go, $10 = 200 messages) or move to a bigger plan, then resume: a campaign needs at least 10 messages left to start or resume.
- Do my messages expire?
- The monthly messages of Starter and Growth are replaced at each renewal and do not carry over. Messages you buy never expire.
- What does Pay as you go include?
- Unlimited active campaigns, 10 browser sessions for contact forms, no hourly limit on contact forms and every sending speed, with no subscription and no monthly fee. Verify your email to get 25 free messages and one search of up to 100 Google searches, in one campaign at a time; your first payment lifts both limits.
- Why pick Starter or Growth?
- A monthly plan includes messages every month and lowers the price of every message you add: Pay as you go $0.05, Starter $0.035 and Growth $0.025 per message. Personalized messages, emails and the lead inbox come with Growth. Your running campaigns share your plan's parallel browser sessions and scanning tabs. To speed one up, pause the others or upgrade.
- Can I change or cancel my plan?
- Yes, from the billing page, through the Stripe customer portal. An upgrade applies right away, and a move to a smaller plan starts at the end of the period you paid for. When a subscription ends, your account moves to Pay as you go and keeps the messages you bought.
- Is this legal, or is it spam?
- Hailr writes to businesses through the contact form each one publishes on its website or, on Growth, an email address found on that website. You are the sender, so the outreach laws where you and the recipients are apply to you, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR and CASL. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and a website that unsubscribes is not contacted again by any of your campaigns. Read section 4 of the terms, Acceptable Use
- Can I see the companies and the message before anything is sent?
- Before launch, the wizard shows your buyer profiles and your message written for three example companies, and you can edit both. After launch, each company appears on the campaign page as it is found and checked, with its one sentence summary. Sending starts automatically while the search runs, and the first contact forms can go out within minutes, so review the preview first and pause whenever you like.
- How do I know a message arrived?
- After each submit Hailr reads the form's own server answer first, then the page. A message counts as delivered when the form was submitted successfully (confirmed or very likely sent) or when your mail server accepted the email. The campaign page shows every message with its status, and a failed attempt costs nothing.
- What reply rate should I expect?
- We do not promise one. Replies depend on your offer, your message and who you write to, so start with the 25 free messages and read the answers. On Growth, the lead inbox collects the replies from people and links each one to the company you wrote to.
